Crystal Falls has been needing a place like this. 7 o’clock to 11 o’clock in the morning amazing breakfast specials love it will be here often. Nick the owner told me they’re really busy on the weekends so better get here early. Really nice guy. Staff is amazing not the kids that don’t care , But genuine old style customer service. Don’t mind leaving a tip at this place.... highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t already. ”

“ Today is my first time trying this place, and holy moly, this place is AMAZING! While it was busy, I had no trouble getting a seat. I was tended to immediately, and my order came out a quick 5 minutes after I placed it. The staff was super friendly and were invested in my comfort and enjoyment. As for the food, my omelette was out of this world and twice the size that I had anticipated, and the hash browns here are the best that I've ever had. I can't wait to come back next Sunday. ”

“ My wife and I are thrilled to discover this delicious breakfast spot. The menu is HUGE! The owner, Nick came out to check on his customers. What a kind and gracious owner. I ordered the meat lovers omelette and substituted chicken sausage for the regular pork sausage. The bacon was half inch chunks of meat that highlighted their thick and tasty bacon strips. So... good! We felt like we were coming home to old friends. Many of the servers came from other restaurants that just don't have as good a family feel any longer. My wife who is gluten sensitive said that the gluten free toast was one of the best she has eaten. I'm a sourdough freak from San Francisco and their sourdough toast was really good. On a side note, they don't soak the toast with butter. Lastly, I have to praise their gravy! Nick comes in every morning early to make it fresh from scratch! It doesn't taste pasty like other places. Update: I just ate Nick's Giant Bacon Cheeseburger lunch special. Nick doesn't call it giant, but I call it giant because the serving size was enough for two people. The burger would have been even thicker if I had ordered it with onions I selected the onion rings as my side instead and it was the right decision. This lunch was without an exaggeration a 12 on a 10 point scale! Flavorful and NOT GREASY! ”

“ We were in Leander having a local mechanic shop do a pre-purchase inspection our sons first vehicle and found Nick’s Breakfast & Coffee a mere 3 minutes away. My wife wanted to try something different so we dropped in Nick’s. There were a few people waiting outside and some folks showed up who had phone in ahead, but it was a very pleasant morning and my bride and I sat outside and perused the menu. Let me tell you this: Nick has got breakfast covered! From stuffed French toast to Nick’s Omelet to Eggs Benedict as well as a mighty good looking lunch menu. Let me tell you - I LOVE HAMBURGERS. Not Mickey D burgers but Real hamburgers. Not the fancy hamburgers, y’all can have those but a good classic burger. In the hamburger section is said that the 9 oz hamburger patty was fresh, never frozen and that tells me, a Hamburger Connoisseur- A LOT. That said, I was in the mood for breakfast so I ordered Nick’s Omelet. (Tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, your choice of meat (bacon, ham or sausage, and choice of cheese American, Cheddar, Swiss, Pepper Jack, and Feta). I went with bacon and cheddar cheese. It comes with a side of hash browns and toast, which I subbed a biscuit and an additional side of sausage gravy. Let me tell you straight up - it was ALL AWESOME!!! The hash browns were perfect. Crispy crunch on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. (And tasted like potato and not oil, a very important point to call out.) The omelet covered more than half of my large plate! The omelets were cooked perfectly. The biscuit was nice and big, flaky and moist, the sausage gravy was savory, and needed nothing. (Except a dash or 3 of Tabasco which is my hot sauce. My wife got the spinach and feta omelet and the spinach was bright and fresh and even though it was a relatively simple omelet it tasted outstanding!! The coffee was smooth, not bitter and the service was executed with excellence. I will say this and this should say it all. We live in Temple, TX, and I guarantee you that we will be back at Nick’s for the food alone. I’m going to be thinking about that classic burger or the Reuben until we return! Our server told us Nick was working the grill or she would’ve asked him to come stop by our table. I hope Nick runs the business as well as he runs his grill and kitchen so that he will be around for years to come. Leander - y’all have one of the best breakfast joints I’ve been to in this part of our fine Republic and I hope y’all are enjoying it as much as we did!! Nick’s was an unexpected surprise in our visit to Leander. I thought I was making sure my son’s first vehicle was GTG, and while we did that, we found a gem of a restaurant!!! Well done Nick and team y’all have some new fans in Temple who will be making a trip back down to visit you guys again. ”

“ We finally made it to Nick’s for breakfast this morning and it was even better than we expected. Numerous people had recommended it and I see why. The food was incredibly tasty for all of us. Whether it was the stuffed French toast, the corned beef hash, meat liver skillet, or the western omelette - you really couldn’t go wrong. The staff was really friendly and kept our water and coffee full and that is important. What a treat to find a new breakfast spot in Leander! ”

“ Our family went to Nick’s on a Saturday morning. It took a short wait to get a table. Our waitress was friendly, and especially kind to my young daughter. Our food came out quickly and the plates were definitely big. Everything tasted amazing. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and I couldn’t make a better country gravy myself (I’m picky about my country gravy and Nick’s was perfect). My husband’s pancakes were the fluffiest pancakes ever. And, to top it all off, we met the legend, Nick, himself — He actually came out to our table! He also was very friendly, and especially kind to my daughter. We will definitely be back tenfold. LOVE this place! ”

“ Really great place. I did the 70’s upholstered booths for real. The servers are super nice, the lemon rice soup is so good, the onion rings are huge and homemade. It’s just an all around great familial atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and just take a trip here even if you just want a coffee and to chill a bit. They have a nice outdoor patio as well. ”
